Skin Changer Compatibility: Do Cosmetic Tools Work Across Every Game?
Closed thread Closed by archiveQuick question about skin changers.
Do these tools generally support a fixed list of games, or do some products claim to work across multiple titles?
I'm asking because product descriptions sometimes make broad claims about weapon skins, character outfits, and cosmetics.
But I assume actual compatibility depends on the individual game and whatever the developer supports.
Also, is there anything specific people should check before buying one?

And don't assume cosmetic changes will be visible to everybody else. That's something I'd want clarified before buying.
System requirements too. The Skin Changer listing mentions Windows 10/11 64-bit and an Intel or AMD CPU.
Status is important as well. A cosmetic tool can become outdated after a game update.
Exactly. Compatibility, requirements, and current status. Three things I'd check before anything else.
